By the title of my review you may be worndering why I rate the book 4 out of 5? 3ds max 6 Bible covers Max very well, there isn't one thing left out, and if your looking for a book on 3ds max 6 this is the best choice. This book, unfortunatly, does not cover Character Studio 4, which usual ships with 3ds max 6. This is the reason for my the 4 star rating.

Anyway, the book is awesome - I have only read into the first few chapters, but I have learnt so much already. I will update the review once I get to read more. The PDF version of the book included rocks - contains full color screenshots. I just wish a CHM version of the book was also made available.

this book is for ever use, i have the bible for max 4,5 and i love it, its easy to read and the directions are clear and the book tells you every thing you need. i just ordered max 6 bible and i use max 6,this is going to be the best book you can get, this book makes all the other book look like Crap!! and i mean that i have several book for max 4,5 and the bible is the only one that i tell people to use. if your a teacher you have to get these books for your class you'll thank me later when you see the information you get from using this book.
