Rating: 2.9/5 from 10 reviews Not for a NoviceThe book is disjointed. The early section tries to explain FrontPage 2003 contrasting it with earlier versions. Because the changes are here and there, this section is incoherent. Later sections work better but the big picture is missing. Not a book for a beginner learning to use FrontPage. FrontPage on the other hand is relatively intuitive building on menu and file structures learned in Word. It is a powerful, useful, program. The book is throughly written just too many purposes. I would have been better served by a structure that started with here is a web page -- you can do it five ways, here is the quickest... lots of Infromation but very little knowledgeThis book could be the most expensive doorstop I ever bought. The Aurthur is probably a very competent programmer, but he is a horrible author. My wife bought me this book and she thought it would be helpful because it had lots of pictures, but it turns out the pictures were merely screen shots of dialog boxes. I guess the best way to catergorize this book is this: There is a lot of information in this book, but very little knowledge. On the contrary MikeWhoever heard of an expert needing a book? I thumbed through it and although well written, I would not recommend it to any "experienced" or "EXPERT" users. This one is definitley step by step and basic.
