How hot is your room?
Have you ever measured the temperature of your room in a hot summer day with a scientific instrument (say... a thermometer)?
Did the scientific instrument melt during the measurement?
Have you ever tried cooking meals in your room without using a cooking stove?
Did you enjoy the meal cooked by your "room temperature"?

As it is winter over here, my room is quite cold. Even if I sat on some food I doubt that it would be even mildly hot.

Maybe I've to do what the migratory birds are doing for ages--migrating to the southern hemisphere during the summer.

If you ask an Eskimo what's hot, he may say anything above 0C is hot. So for me, when my room temperature rise above 28C, I'll say it's impossibly, unbearably, insanely and immorally hot. I'm sure you can understand my feeling  .

Even if I have the fan pulling air into my room it's still over 90F, about 32C if I'm right. It's 102F (38C) outside right now though.
I like Anime and Manga and Music and DOCTOR WHO!!

When I moved accomadation a couple of months ago, it was 32C. This borders on heatwave for England and it was murder trying to lug two carloads of stuff up a flight and a half of stairs.

I now have a relativly cold room. No idea what the temperature actually is, but im chilly.
