Humans could rule the animal world- we are very powerful, with guns and intelligence and stuff. We don't, however rule the physical earth (e.g. earthquakes) I can't be bothered to type much at the moment.

I prefer to rule the animal world than the physical world; much easier.

I want us (humans) to rule the physical world. Tub I think I am optimistic for humanity to say they will achieve that soon.

I think within 200 years though we will control much.

I think that in 200 years there will be an atomic war and the only species left will be mutated cockroaches

Very good theory, but I think the world will be ruled by intelligent, treek-swinging squid things.

Atomic? How antique and cute.

I think if there is war, it will involve an unusual amount of high energy weaponry, antimatter, fusion, and other nasty things.

And I doubt it will be long before humans start spinning things that twist time so it rents open and annihalates planets and stars :?

I don't think we shall ever master the pysical world.

Earthquakes! The weather! The Tides! they are unstopable. as constant as forever.(simile, don't take it litteraly.)

One day we could possibly rule the weather and earthquakes, but not the tides. They are controled by the moon and the sun and therefore cannot be altered.

If we ruled the physical world we would probably use it as a weapon
that would be sad

so is the weather.

And unless you would like to stop the mantel from turning and send the earth flying into the sun, you wouldn't be able to stop earthquakes

You could change the tides. You could move the moon.

And what if we learn how to suppress inertia?

Then stopping the mantle would present no problem.
