How to comment?

The simple rules are:
Reply to post, your comment will start a new comment topic.
Reply to comment, your comment will appear under the replied comment (like a thread of conversation).

Did you notice a "reply" link under each comment? So you can actually reply to a specific comment without losing the thread of conversation.

It's easier to read when new comment appears on the top. But I also think it might confuse new users. So I have changed the order, now the new comment will appear at the bottom (except when you reply to a comment).

How to upload your avatar

To load avatar,

login
select "my account"
select the "edit" tab
Use "Upload Picture" to upload your avatar (limit to 85x85 30kb)
You can only upload picture from your computer
You can't type a url into the box
After done, goto the bottom page and click the save button.

You might be wondering what does syndicate means?

You see sites around with the little orange RSS or XML icons like

That means you can subscribe to that site, and reading it only when there's new stuff in there.

How to subscribe to a site?

If you are using Firefox, you will see a little orange icon on the lower right hand corner of your browser's status bar. You can click on it to subscribe. Simple. News will come to you whenever the site is updated.

How to send private message

You have to allow someone else to send private message to you.

And it's not really a private message, it goes to your email box (without them knowing your email).

Here's how to allow others to send message to you:

Log in
goto my account
select "EDIT" tab
check the personal contact form
The sender won't know the email of the receiver
but the reciver will know the email of the sender

This forum is relatively new...

I'm not that familiar with the features yet.

But do post comments if you find some problems... I'll try to figure it out.

One interesting feature is you can switch to your own theme.
