In a local play, a group of people are on a plane that is about to crash. The director wants us to be scared as though we are about to die. She asked us if we've ever been scared like that and everyone around me said yes. I've been in a lot of situations that could have ended in death. I even pictured that ending when the events were happening but I was never truely scared of it. Is there something wrong with that?

There was a time when I honestly beleived for a slpit second that I was going to die. But I did't realy have mutch time to be afraid about it. I think its very hard to be geniunly afraind your going to die unless you actualy are. So I don't think there is anything wrong with you. I think the other people are either lying, or overracting to whatever situation it is that they are thinking about

I was in a car crash when I was younger. I was a bit shaken up and for a while I was nervous watching oncoming traffic, but actually during the crash and for the rest of the night I don't remember being scared at all. My main concern was for my Double Bass in the back of the car. (Don't worry, It survived).
