Well,I am a die hard crow fan.I watch the show ,saw the movie , and read this graphic novel. I think that the story line is great (I am emersed in the story line of anything crow related),However , if you saw the movie , this is great graphic novel for the reason that it has the cool crow story line working for it , but o'barr puts it in new words.Fantastic.A must have for all crow fans.

The novel takes place right after the events of Nemesis and the Enterprise is back to get repairs before it heads out again. Picard looks at the crew and realizes that a lot of the crew members that he has known over years are gone. Riker and Troi have gone to the Titan, Data was destroyed, and many others have gone. Of course what is on Picard's mind more than anything else is the fact that Beverly Crusher has also left the Enterprise and taken a position with Starfleet medical. Little did Picard know that Beverly Crusher was a mission for Starfleet to find a cure for awful disease on the planet Kevratas. The problem is Kevratas is on the other side of the neutral zone. More importantly Romulan space! When Starfleet medical doesn't hear from Dr. Crusher they assume that she has been kidnapped. There assumption is correct, and she has been taken captive by Romulans.

While Crusher is fighting for survival the Federation sends Captain Picard to investigate her disappearance and to get a cur...

Titan, Book Two : The Red King (Star Trek: The Next Generation)
Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 23:37 Media

I enjoyed this installment of the new Tital series very much, even with having to deal with the whole gay influence being an underlying theme of the story that could have easily been done without.

Now, the main story itself, I really enjoyed. I thought it was just as good as the first book, if not just a little better. I am excited to see where this series will evolve to and what will happen in the 3rd installment that I am reading now, or the 4th one, slated to be released some time in 2007.

This book was awesome! The riddles were fun, and the characters were put on a very realistic level. While I enjoy The Empty Throne better, this is definently still a classic Xena novel.

Xena Warrior Princess: Complete Illustrated Companion
Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 23:37 Xena

Xena Warrior Princess: Complete Illustrated Companion, is written by K. Stoddard Hayes, was released on 2003-06-01, is made by Titan Books. The list price is around US$19.95.
It's been two years since the series came to a close and ended it's shooting, and we finally have a complete illustrated companion to go along with it all.
With all the time we spent anticipating this book, I believe that it left a bit to be desired. The author of the book either did not do his or her homework very well or did not pay too much attention to detail when the episode guide was written. Each episode review was only three or four lines long, and there were a few mistakes on the episodes scattered throughout. IE-In One Against an Army, Gabrielle was shot by an arrow BEFORE Xena took refuge in the armory. This was actually a rather large point in the plot of the story, but the book states that Xena went to the armory and then Gabrielle was shot. For the episode "Many Happy Returns" the book explains that Xena and Gabrielle enlisted Aphrodite's help to help Genia "enjoy worldly pleasures." Weren't they trying to teach her to live her own life? You may like the episode guide better than I did i...

The Physics of Star Trek
Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 23:37 Star Trek

The Physics of Star Trek, is written by Lawrence M. Krauss, was released on 1996-09-25, is made by Harper Paperbacks. The list price is around US$13.00.
I really enjoyed this book, it really went in depth on how or if certain technologies of Trek work or don't. Be warned, that it can get very scientific, and to the untrained eye may appear to use more techno-babble then trek itself. However, it is laid out in a very concise manner, with several diagrams as well.

Doctor Who: The Clockwise Man (Doctor Who)
Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 23:37 Doctor Who

Doctor Who: The Clockwise Man, is written by Justin Richards, was released on 2005-08-24, is made by BBC Books, Usually ships in 24 hours. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $10.37.
This is, as even the most blind of persons would know, the first novel based upon the new series of Doctor Who. The novel stars the 9th Doctor and his companion, Rose, no huge surprise since their pictures are on the front cover of a really nicely done hardback book (which, as noted by a few others, is so much better than the weaker paperbacks the BBC has given us for the 8th and Past Doctors). I wont go into the story that is found in this book as most likely, if you are already looking at this book, you have either read it and wish to know what other fans of the Doctor has to say about this book, or you'll get it anyway because you are said fan of the Doctor Who series and you like to collect all the knickknacks of Doctor Who. For me, the book was a pleasant read, over all. The characters were the usual set of Doctor Who characters, from the main characters themselves (Doc and Rose) to the supporting cast. The book is not a complicated storyline, as would be found in the 8th Doctor novels and even ...

Absolute Batman: Hush
Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 23:37 Batman

Absolute Batman: Hush, is written by Jeph Loeb, was released on 2005-10-01, is made by DC Comics, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$49.99. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $31.49.
Jeph Loeb's yearlong Hush arc on Batman was made all the better by offering spectacular artwork from penciler Jim Lee and inker Scott Williams, and ended up being a best-seller as well as being one of the best Batman stories in the past few years. Hush is the name of a new villain to come into Batman's life, who utilizes many members of Batman's rogues gallery to wreak havoc on the Dark Knight. Everyone from the Joker, to Riddler, to Poison Ivy, the Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Clayface, and even Catwoman whom Batman has grown even closer to as of late. For those who may have missed Hush the first time around, Loeb offers plenty of entertaining twists, and Lee's pencil work is gorgeous as always, made all the better by the inks of his longtime, underrated partner Scott Williams. This gorgeous Absolute Edition is a true work of art, and has a bounty of features and commentary from Loeb and Lee on the creation of their run. All in all, Absolute Batman: Hush is a must-own for Bat-fans, and remains one of the ...

Dark Victory expands upon The Long Halloween, and has a story interesting enough to please fans of Loeb's original Batman-mob story. Robin isn't played heavily, which is a good thing for me, but any Batman fans should pick this up.

Crow and Weasel
Submitted by Reviewer (not verified) on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 23:35 The Crow

Crow and Weasel, is written by Barry Lopez, was released on 1998-09-25, is made by Farrar, Straus and Giroux (BYR), Usually ships in 24 hours. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $9.95.
This is a good book that can be read to or by children ages 7-15. This book could be read in 2-3 hours and has natural breaks that allows you to return to the book a number of different times. The story is interesting and keeps the listeners or readers attention. I teach special education for behavior disorder students and this book is useful in teaching a variety of different social skills. I also have to sons that have enjoyed the story line and the messages that the story contains. The illustrations are colorful and add life to the books content. I highly recommend this book for any youth library.

Red Dwarf: Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers

Red Dwarf: Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers (Red Dwarf), is written by Grant Naylor, was released on 1992-09-01, is made by Roc. The list price is around US$6.99.
This is possibly one of the most hilarious books that I have ever read! It's one of those books that I can pick up and read over and over again. It's very rare for me to actually laugh out loud with reading a book, most of the time I just smile or giggle a little. But with this book, full out belly laughs were definitely required.

Even if you're not a fan of science fiction, get this book. It's well worth it!

Doctor Who: Monsters Inside (Doctor Who)

Doctor Who: Monsters Inside, is written by Stephen Cole, was released on 2005-08-24, is made by BBC Books. The list price is around US$11.99.
I really liked this book. Until I saw the 2005 season on SciFi Channel I did not even know what Doctor Who was. I think because this is " my first Doctor" I can really see the book matches his personality. Some who have seen other Doctors may not agree, but I really like it and will be buying others in the series soon.

Ah...my two favorite characters in the same book...unfortunately, I've only read the exerpt, but from what I read, this book rivals the New Frontier saga in complexity, quality of writing, and interest factor! From the very beginning I was routing for Galen, who's struggles are not unlike that of Kaylenn (see link: http://s2.invisionfree.com/Star_Trek_Galaxy). I can't wait to get the book and read on, and obviously the first two are required reads.
