Power of Prayer and Mr. Mueller's work with English OrphansI read this book years ago while I was just a teenager. Just today I turned 30. Since the time I was a young teenager I have had a burden to help troubled children. The book only fueled my desire to work with children. I am also a devout Christian and know the tremendous power that prayer can bring into one's life. It is 2:32am where I am at and although it has been over 15 years since I read this book, I woke up after several dreams tonight with George Mueller's life on my mind. I can't rest until I know even more about George Mueller's life. I need direction in the way that I am to serve. The book is that powerful. More importantly, the testimony of Mr. Mueller's faith and dedication have inspired me to commit my life to the service of God. I hope you are inspired as well. Incredible testimony to the power of prayer!I'm about to begin reading George Mueller's Autobiography. Answers to prayer is an amazing testimony to the power of prayer in one man's life, and it shows how every believer can appropriate the promises of God for themselves. | ||||||||||||||||||||
