"Beyond Fear" does not go into "how to steps" of achieving freedom & joy but it certainly guides you through principles that are consistent with Don Miguel Ruiz teachings. In essence, people of power are those who are open, loving, and nonjudgemental: for them the universe is a place of wonder, exporation and adventure. What I liked most about the book is the way the author, Mary Carrol Nelson, weaves elements of Toltec knowledge & ceremonies into the book, along with biographical content. She describes personal experiences by Don Miguel Ruiz & his significant other "Gaya" that changed their lives. I liked the book! I would read anything by and about Don Miguel Ruiz....Erika B.

No book has changed my life more than Beyond Fear and The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz. I have been reading these books almost every day for the past six months. The gratitude I feel for these books cannot be expressed in words, because the transformation they have engendered is too profound. This book gives you all the information, love and tools you need to create the life you choose. This is not a book which tells you what to believe. This is a book that teaches you how to choose what you want to believe. It leads you to discover your own truth and your own path to happiness. Living the words in this book has freed and empowered me to find the peace and happiness I was seeking. Now, this book and all of don Miguel's words live in my heart, and they will continue to guide me every day in deepening my experience of spirituality. If you are considering buying this book, do. Give it a chance to wake you up, open up your soul and amaze you!

I have read The Four Agreements, The Companion Book, The Mastery of Love and now Beyond Fear. Beyond Fear is totaly different than his other books, he gets a little bit out there with this one. I would highly suggest you read his other books first, start with this one and you will be lost. You need to build up to this book but it is certainly worth the read. I also liked Rat Race Relaxer: Your Potential & The Maze of Life by JoAnna Carey which helped me get in touch with some of the areas of my life that were preventing me from achieving freedom and joy.
